Answers to your questions
Who is this event for?
Latitude is for anyone serious about transforming tourism for the better, whether you’re a sustainability consultant, tour operator, travel writer, DEI strategist, or community leader. If you care about impact and connection, you’ll find your people here.
How does the speed-networking format work?
Once you log in, we’ll guide you through a series of small-group conversations. You’ll meet up to 24 other professionals, 3 at a time, with 10 minutes in each room to connect and explore shared interests. It’s fast, fun, and surprisingly impactful.
Do I need to prepare a pitch?
No. Please leave the sales deck at home. Just bring your curiosity, a brief intro about yourself, and maybe a notebook for ideas that spark. Latitude is about meaningful conversation, not awkward sales pitches.
Which session should I book?
We have two editions optimized for different time zones:
- Transatlantic Edition (March 25): Best for professionals in the Americas, UK, Western Europe, and West Africa.
- Europe, Africa & Asia Edition (March 26): Best for professionals in the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.
- You are welcome to attend both!
Will there be a list of attendees afterwards?
Yes! Although we can't share email addresses due to GDPR, you’ll receive a directory of attendees’ LinkedIn profiles so you can follow up one-on-one.
Will the event be recorded?
No. These are real-time, private conversations. We do not record them to ensure the space remains open, honest, and safe for genuine connection.
I've never done a virtual networking event before. Will I be guided?
Absolutely. You’ll have a host welcoming you in the main room, and the platform handles all the transitions automatically. We’ll walk you through it step-by-step so you can focus on connecting, not the tech.
What if I can’t stay for the full 90 minutes?
We recommend staying for the full experience to maximize your connections, but if you need to leave early, that’s totally okay.
Can I get a receipt for my business?
Yes. You will automatically receive a detailed receipt from Stripe via email immediately after booking, which typically contains all the information needed for expense reports and tax records.
What is your refund policy?
Tickets are fully refundable as long as you contact us at hello@latitudetourism.org at least 48 hours prior to the event start time.
